The Guest House is in a beautiful, traditional style and the host was so helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious and the common areas were also spotless and thoughtfully designed. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to experience a traditional Japanese Guest House.

The location was convenient for getting around, and overall it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

Kanazawa Guesthouse Stella terletak di Kanazawa, 2.6km dari Stesen Kanazawa dan 3.6km dari Myoryuji - Ninja Temple. Shuji made us feel very welcome the moment we arrived. His warmth, friendliness and generosity as well as his local information and recommendations outshone any guide book or Google search. The entire place was spotlessly clean and cosy. Although the rooms were small, the bunks were comfortable with nice linen and cosy duvets and there was room for luggage. The common area was well stocked with everything needed to make a meal or tea and coffee. The location in the historical Higashi Chaya district was ideal. Easy to get to by bus from Kanazawa Station. Walking distance to a supermarket, Kenrokuen Gardens, museums, restaurants. Very quiet within Stella as well as where it is located.

There is enough restaurants in the neighbourhood. This place is beautiful. It use to be a kimono shop that got converted into a guesthouse. I chose this place, becausr I wantsd to experience a Japanese house. This superceeded my expectations. The hostess Nina-san is very welcoming. Her speaking English, made the experience even better, as we could converse. In the evening she learned us how to make origami. Was very cool experience and she explained it very well. My clumpsey hands were more in the way. The bathroom and toilet were nice and clean and modern with all the expected facilities. I would defenitly come back to this gueathouse and I recommend it if you wish to feel A japanese house.

Everything about the house was excellent and the host even left us a loaf of fresh bread!. We were well impressed with all the facilities.

The bunk beds room was not exactly charming unfortunately, and the beds did not have individual lights or plugs. I think this might be rented as an entire home moving forward, I was the first guest. Still it would be good to have lights in the bedroom, and more plugs! Especially near the bed.
