This was my favorite stay during my trip! Surrounded by the countryside, this 280 years old house has all the charms of its age, but still reasonably modern amenities. The staff is especially friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And you can get amazing home-cooked meals too! If you want to go out of the beaten path and explore the rural side of Japan, this is absolutely the best place!

Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The food arrangement was a combination mostly of typical Japanese dishes with a touch of western cuisine. We stayed on New Year's Eve so we even got some special dishes on top! For drinks, there were also several home-made ones (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to choose from. The owner was extremely nice! He and his partner have a lot of international travel experience, especially in Latin America and Spain. They have very broad perspectives, so it's not a problem to stay as a foreigner even if you haven't been to Japan before. The inn of course has a natural hot spring bath, and we were able to book a time-slot to use privately. It is a remote location far away from the city, so we could enjoy some time away from the busy city and do some stargazing as well. They keep several cats which are very cute and friendly towards the guests.

Our family of four loved Country Inn no Mori Gorilla. The couple that run the hotel were so gracious and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the meals were outstanding. We really enjoyed talking with our hosts, and they treated us like special guests. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, despite some rainy weather while we were there.

The owners are nice. Its clean. Great beer options at the small bar. I had a car so the location wanst a problem.

Terletak di Fukushima, La Union mempunyai lounge berkongsi, teres, bar, dan WiFi percuma di seluruh tempat penginapan. I've stayed in several places in Japan and this might be the best one so far. There are all the aminities you'd like to find in a bathroom (including menstrual protections) that I don't even get in proper hostels. There's even a small quiet fan and a wireless charging base for your phone at your bed ! I asked if I could drop off my luggage before the check-in and it was okay. Well located, perfect, definitely recommend.
