Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. The guest house is spottless and welcoming. Our room was the last one (Number 11 or 12, can't remember) and being on the corner It has 2 windows with a lot of light. There are 3 huge toilets with showers, very clean and organized. We didn't use the shared living room and kitchen but they seemed tò be very comfortable. You Need tò leave the shoes at the guesthouse entrance (Icelandic habit) so Better have comfy shoes tò put on/off. breakfast was Amazing. Both restaurants and rooms are very very hot (we were here in August) so better dress in layers.

Everything tbh - we were too tired after a hike to Studlagil. When we entered the property, met Elsa and checked in, I think the energy returned. The hot tub & sauna was a gift to my tired legs. Kitchen to room, everything was designed thoughtfully from a barn to a homestay and well equipped. Jfyi, the shower is common - but very big, spacious and clean. Hence it would not be an issue. If weather is nice and you are lucky, you may get to see some auroras too like us 😊

Comfortable for a group 6 with 3 bedrooms, 2 WC with 1 shower. Well equipped kitchen and nice comfortable living room to relax before bed. Since it’s part of the ranch, we got greeted with sheep in the morning!

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. I can’t fault this property. Absolute waterfront and a beautiful room with quality fittings. The bed was very comfortable. We loved staying here.

Beautiful room with a warm atmosphere. There was a water shut down in town. The staff were immediately there for us and the whole episode was sorted out within less than an hour

Lyngás Guesthouse is located by Route 1 in Egilsstadir, East Iceland. It offers free parking, a shared kitchen and basic rooms with free WiFi. The staff was very helpful and flexible when our arrival time changed. Easy to follow check-in instructions. The facilities were very clean! We had a comfortable stay.
