It's a gated yard, so it felt very secure, and the breakfast area had everything you needed for a little snack or a good start to the day!

This meant we could rent them for our entire stay and didn't need to return them to the rental place each day. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and offered us a great accommodation experience.

On the West bank of the River Shannon, Shannonside House is set within large, private gardens. Guests can enjoy home cooking and free parking, and Athlone's centre is a 5-minute walk away. Beautiful house with well presented bedrooms. Mark and Linda were wonderful hosts very warm and friendly.
