I had a wonderful stay at this charming family-run hotel. The hospitality was warm and personal, and the home-cooked meals, especially dinner, were absolutely delicious. Rani went above and beyond to help us secure a last minute jeep booking to visit Mt Bromo, which we really appreciated. The location was perfect—quiet, cool, and peaceful, making it a great escape from the city. Plus, the hotel is equipped with Starlink WiFi, which was fast and reliable enough for me to get some work done during the trip. Highly recommended!

This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

Lovely property with views of borbodur. Francisca was super helpful in finding us a driver and tickets for prambanan ballet.

The room is very clean, and the bed is comfortable. The host is friendly and helpful. We even got some homemade sweets and helped us with the laundry. The garden is beautiful and there is a private terrace where we could enjoy our tea and relax.

Rolly and Lala are fantastic hosts, we loved our stay in their homestay, which is in great walking locations from main areas and in the middle of a neighborhood. We would definetly advise anyone coming to Yogakarta to stay here. The rooms are set with great care, look wonderful with cute art and plants ( Understandably as one of them is a local artist!). They have fans to help with the heat and the futons are very comfortable. Also nice having deemer lights for the evening, not something we had often during our trip around South East Asia. It is a cold shower but that was not a problem for us in this heat, bathroom was nice and clean and again stylish! Kitchen access available for tea and coffee during the day& hot drink and lovely breakfast daily- we had the egg sandwich& fruits and coffee each time but they offered other dishes also. They made us a pack breakfast the morning we left ridiculously early for a sunrise tour. They provided us with advice on tours/things to do and we loved watching some of their traditional celebrations on our last night. We enjoyed learning about their culture and tradition a lot.
