We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I had a vey friendly and helpful welcome. The hotel has charm in abundance and is well located to explore York. Great room. Nice and quiet. And breakfast great. Super value for money.

A boutique hotel in the heart of York just a 10-minute walk from York Minster. The best hotel I have ever stayed. The staff was attentive and kind, the room was clean, classy and very comfortable, the pantry was lovely and most of all - the breakfast was heavenly.

Situated on Whitby’s North Promenade, on Western Cliff, The Wheeldale offers cooked breakfasts, free parking and free Wi-Fi. We loved the Sea View room. The location was close enough to walk in to the town and the Whitby Abbey. The information provided in the room was excellent and the whole experience was welcoming and homely.
