Javier was a wonderful host. Do book your evening meal in advance of arrival. Breakfast was Spanish fare and fantastic. The rooms 2 level in an old converted mill building, quaint and cool. The dogs were a bonus, and the scenery simply fantastic.

Hostal Elvira is located within 200 metres of the historic centre of Aranda de Duero. Renovated in 2014, the property offers free WiFi and heated twin rooms with a terrace and flat-screen TV. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. I was met at the front door at 11pm by a very charming man. I speak little Spanish and him little English. He was very patient. We will be staying in this hotel again.

Able to get a bag delivered and held for a couple of days before our arrival. Able to leave our bags in reception before checkin. Received assistance in organising transport to the train station for next morning. Lift, large comfortable room. Proximity to laundromat was good. 10mins max wander up to the Cathedral.
