We loved our stay at Aylluwasi which means family home in Quechua. Alberto our host was so kind and helpful. The location is very central so we could easily get there via foot from the bus station and the the famous Otavalo market was just one block away.There was also an amazing coffee place just around the corner. It was great to have such big clean rooms and also the opportunity to cook for ourselves in the communal kitchen. It was especially nice to have a smoothie machine! All in all we would recommend this place if you looking for affordable accommodation with a lot of heart and soul.

The wi-fi is strony and it works seamlesly in the entire object. I was also impressed with the breakfast.

Just across the street, there is a breathtaking view of the lagoon, which adds to the charm of the place. To top it off, the food was absolutely amazing – a true highlight of our experience. The room was nice, spacious and clean, and the location was good.We could wash the laundry and hang on the terrace. Nice view from the terrace. The breakfast was good, especially the juice , even if it was the same every single day.

They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.
