We enjoyed our stay a lot. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The swim in the clear lake was amazing. Great walks around the area for leisure. Can highly recommend this place.

So much attention to detail. We loved our stay. The owner’s have thought about everything. They were very quick to respond to any questions we had and resolved them quickly. Also it’s very close to the Bella Center where I had my conference in. I could take a bus or walk there. Close to the metro too to get to the city center. Something I was worried about before arrival was not having enough day light inside the apartment because it’s half below the ground. However, this was not a problem at all. There are windows in every room which brings a lot of day light in.

I had notified them of my delay in advance, and they kindly accommodated my schedule without a hitch. Room & Upgrade - I originally booked the most economical room, but to my surprise and delight I was upgraded free of charge to their best suite. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully appointed—exactly what I needed for a good night’s rest. Dining & Atmosphere - Even though the restaurant was technically closed, they graciously reopened it for me and treated me to a complimentary beer. The décor is like stepping into a 1960s–70s American museum: quirky, cozy, and utterly captivating. Free coffee is available all day, and I enjoyed sipping it in their lovely garden nook. Hidden Gem: Home Cinema - As a final treat, I discovered a small private home cinema with a handful of ultra‑comfortable seats—a delightful surprise I wasn’t expecting! This place exceeded every expectation—from the friendly service and spotless rooms to the unique dining space and secret cinema. I will absolutely return on my next trip and plan to stay longer. Highly recommended for anyone seeking warmth, comfort, and a touch of nostalgia in a beautifully curated setting!

Set in the quiet residential suburb of Vanløse, these guest rooms are located in the lower part (high basement) in this house with natural light coming in and cross ventilation as all rooms have windows. The house is located at a 10-minute Metro ride from central Copenhagen. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, as well as a communal kitchenette. With a reasonable charge, guests can use washing machine and dryer. Friendly host, nice neighborhood, shared kitchen. We didn’t have a car, and appreciated being within walking distance to the metro.

Location is close to nature, and easy to get by bicycle from frederiksværk and Frederikssund. The hosts, Hanna and family were friendly and very available, and made sure I was comfortable. The WiFi was excellent for my remote work. Lovely room, very bright and quiet, with views to the garden in each direction, but also with privacy, so It almost feels like you are in a separate house. The shower was better than my own shower at home.

Bjorn (owner and host) warmly welcomed us and made us feel like friends stopping in for a visit. After traveling by motorcycle for 5 months, staying here felt like a haven of rest for us! Every detail is thoughtful, but the comfortable bed and soft linens were my favorite! Until breakfast arrived the next morning on wooden trays … such a feast! Bjorn was a fantastic host, going out of his way to help make our stay one to remember! Stay here. This is what hospitality is all about!
