Less than a 2-minute walk from Lake Steinhude, this traditional guest house is quietly located in the fishing village. It offers rental bicycles, a charming garden and free WiFI access. Everything! The lady owner is very friendly and nothing was a problem. The property is about 50 m from a lovely lake and there is plenty of green to walk our dogs. The town is very picturesque and it's walking distance to a little square ( maybe a market Square) with wooden huts and lovely boutiques in them.

This family-run hotel offers modern accommodation with free parking. It lies in Mardorf, on the shores of the Steinhuder Meer lake, 37 km from Hanover. Nothing to share once the hotel was completely shut down and I got only the keys to enter the room. Nothing else no staff no restaurant nothing.
