The hotel rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable with the perk of AC and screens on the window to allow fresh air and no bugs. The breakfast is DELICIOUS!!! Located in Pöcking, this family-run hotel is only 1 km from scenic Lake Starnberg and 5 km from Starnberg city centre. It features free Wi-Fi, a sunny terrace and bicycle rental facilities. The people at reception desk were friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and equipped with a fan for the hot weather. The breakfast in the morning in the cozy dining room was top notch. We loved this place so much, we came back after a stay in 2012. Highly recommend.

The family-run Landgasthof zur Quelle offers simple rooms, free private parking and a traditional restaurant. It is situated in Seeshaupt-Magnetsried, just 5 km away from the Starnberger See Lake. A very nice hotel in a total quiet rural land. The breakfast was perfect, with everything you expect in Bayern. I missed the Grill but the restaurant was very good.
