It was clean and the family setting was exactly what we were looking for. The home cooked meals breakfast and dinner were delicious. Alcino is very friendly and helpful, whenever I sent him a message, he responded very fast. We liked this big house, we were feeling like at home, it's close to the beach, to the center of the town, to the diving center, to the restaurant, only 5 to 10 minutes walk to most of the places. If someday I'd come again to Tarrafal, I'm sure I'd come to this accommodation again!

Cactus Guest House mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, kawasan pantai peribadi dan ruang tamu berkongsi di Cidade Velha. Absolutely everything especially Mamadu, who looks after the house!!! For the very first time I was travelling on my own and I did enjoy every minute! House is absolutely beautiful with amazing views from the patio and sitting area which is pretty much at the swimming pool. There are so many plants around that you feel like in a jungle literally, but that my kind of house. Peace and quiet area ... except for the roosters, but I did love it as well, as brought me back to my childhood when I grow up in the village. And the most important factor why I did love this place so much is that I was on my own, so all house was to myself!!! Fortunately, Mamadu was there any time I did need anything!

The room was basic but clean, comfortable and I slept really well. Excellent location near all the landmarks, restaurants and shops in the plateau. I also got free tea and coffee during my stay and I had access to a kitchen and a common area.
