Spotlessly clean throughout the room and the common areas. Fabulously comfortable beds with beautiful linens. Good towels and toiletries in the spacious bathroom which had a good rain shower and even a bidet spray. Nightstands had great lights for reading and there were many outlets at bedside and also at the desk and chair. Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful although not much English spoken. Location is excellent, close to the action but far enough to be quiet at nights. Work is being done downstairs but I didn't hear any noise. Even when the next door restaurant had loud music closing the bathroom door made it quiet so soundproofing is excellent. Highly recommend this excellent choice.

Beautiful hostel in the jungle. Everything was super clean. Close to parque tayrona. I enjoyed the walk to the nearby waterfall even more. Amazing feeling to sleep in the jungle. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Hostal Magdalena mempunyai taman, teres, restoran dan bar di Santa Marta. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay the best. Their cute and well-behaved animals were a big plus! The hostel is clean, the beds comfortable and the aircon great (and necessary). Delicious breakfast. Good wifi! Located in a calmer part of Santa Marta with fewer restaurants, although close to the beach. A bit noisy during the evenings due to the traffic outside. Ideal for people traveling in groups or in pairs.

Its walking distance from the tayrona entrance and also has other lovely walks and rivers nearby. I could not recommend more.

Super kind hosts, very attentive and friendly. Offered us Coffee & Mangoes when we arrived. The room was clean & comfortable, with an air-conditioned and a fan, and a big closet for storage. Quite neighborhood in a good location- easy to get to from other cities, and collectivos close by to any destination. Great value for money.

What truly touched us was how the hosts kindly took care of our dog while we were dealing with a health issue. Their support meant so much to us — truly warm and caring people!

The bus to Tayrona National park stops right at the entrance. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags while we visited Tayrona overnight and were offered to shower when we returned!
