Located in Hefang Pedestrian Street, the centre of Song Dynasty, Ho Fang International Youth Hostel is a traditional Chinese restored building with grey stone walls and black tiles of rooftop. Location, location location... the best ever. About 100m away from Hefang Street, where all the action is. Yet quiet and peaceful. So much to see within walking distance. I initially booked a dorm room to meet other travellers, but was offered a double room on the ground floor, with own bathroom. Excellent choice. It was spacious, clean and quiet. As an older foreign tourist travelling alone, it was a delight. The manager Bai was really helpful and spoke excellent English.
