Joye gave us a very warm welcome. We got a lot of suggestions wich were good. Also the staff speaks english so all of our questions were answered. Great to have some help like that in China! The room was really big and comfortable. Soft sheets, an electric blanket. Good shower, elektric heated (!) Smart toilet, very good hairdyer. We had more than we needed 😉 They arranged our trip to the tiger leaping gorge. They even noticed the owners of the hotel we booked in shangri la for our arrival. So nice! Many many thanks! Jacky is a very present and thoughtful host. He really helps us with any tasks or questions and gives many indications for nice hikes or market trips. The room was also very nice, with view on the rice fields and a terrace on top to see the sunset.

It is better to stay on the edge of town so you do not have to drag your bags on the stone pavement. GPS location of the inn is wrong. It is 400 m from the south gate of old Lijiang.The correct GPS location is 26.87229° N, 100.23942° E.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is really convenient. Strongly recommended!
