Great location with a market outside every evening and walking distance from the main park entrance. Would definitely recommend this place for people visiting Zhangjiajie National Park.

At Zhangjiajie Walishanfang Guest Hous every room is fitted with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Very close to the scenic park and a 30mins drive to the Grand Canyon. Very nice rooms, large, hot water, aircon/heater. Great host, stayed here last year and he helped plan my day trip in the park. He speaks English.

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and serves Chinese cuisine. The staff were absolutely amazing ! So friendly and helpful with planning our trips around the national park and booking tickets for us. We also bumped into one of the staff when we were a bit stuck coincidentally and he drove us back to the hotel which was so sweet. Beautiful bath on the balcony too !

Tim was of great help in organizing all local trips, tickets and even ordering the tax. Kind, smiling and helpful. I was so pleased that he helped me organize the trips to Zgangjijajie Park, Tianmen mountain and others. Super responsive on the phone, also whatsapp and helped even remotely when I was already in the mountains. The guesthouse is cozy, clean and with a nice vibe. I loved my room. It was spacious, simple, and comfortable. important that I can open the window and have some fresh air as well. There is plenty of local restaurants and shops around to get by with shopping for food, grocery or gifts. If I come back to Zhangjiajie I will stay again for sure!
