A dream villa! I just stayed overnight in the deluxe suite for 3 people in this wonderful villa. The directions received on the day of arrival were very clear. Even a video on how to open the safebox and then the doors left no doubt. I could recognize the building right away. It is an impeccably renovated and upscale privat villa from the last century. High ceilings and blackout curtains. The suite with a huge terrace with beautiful views made us feel we were in an exclusive place. The sofa bed for the third person was comfortable and large even if I wouldn't consider it suitable for 2 adults. Too bad we only stayed one night. We will gladly keep the address for a future stay. We found the price fair and was over 300 francs. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because we left early but there would be that option as well

A 7-minute walk from the shore of Lago Maggiore, Hotel Dei Fiori enjoys a central location in Ascona and offers you en-suite rooms with free WiFi, cable TV and a minibar. The hosts were so lovely and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Our dog was also very welcome and the breakfast was high quality and lovely as well!

Typical Ticino-style Pensione Olanda is 1 km from the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage church, and features garden and a terrace, furnished with deckchairs and offering panoramic views of Locarno and Lake... Amazing place. Feels like at home. Breakfast super nice. Can't wait to come back.

Located in Ascona, just 600 metres from the shore at Lake Maggiore, Hotel Luna Garni offers a café bar with a terrace on the ground floor, free WiFi access, and a balcony in every room. Located super close to Ascona's center, within walking distance. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially when we had additional requests. The self-service bar at night was a convenient and enjoyable feature.

The family-run Hotel Garni Golf is located in the heart of Ascona’s Old Town, just steps away from the promenade and Lake Maggiore. Guests can benefit from free WiFi. I booked my dad in here for our short stay in Ascona and he couldn’t speak highly enough of his experience here. The couple who own it are absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful and treat you like family. I came to collect him one day and they let me sit with him and breakfast and offered me tea/coffee even though I want staying there. Breakfast was great, room was spotless and very comfortable. On departure they gave my dad a lovely homemade loaf of bread. I’m hoping to return next year and hope to get myself booked in here!

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. It is a self-contained island of greenery (nice big garden) and quiet, with lots of things for a 5-person family to do and a lovely atmosphere. The team running the Villa were super friendly and supportive - our daughter needs to eat gluten free food and they helped us by ensuring fresh gluten free bread every day in the morning for her and once even baked a special cake. Our energetic two year old could run in the garden, play with the toys from the toy collection and enjoy the sandbox, which kept him busy and us as relaxed as possible... The fully equipped kitchen gave us the freedom to cook as we needed to. And the option to use the bicycles with a baby seat was just great. Would gladly go back for another stay.
