A great hotel with clean and spacious rooms, a nice communal space with a warm pool and seating areas. The pousade was close to the center of the town but away from the busy areas so there’s no noise at night. Staff was very kind and helpful. We also loved the breakfast. Overall an amazing stay and one of our best hotels in Brazil.

At the accommodation, all rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV and a safety deposit box. I honestly loved this pousada! The bed was big and so comfortable! Very clean too. We never got to use the swimming pool but it looked amazing. It is at a good distance from city center and 3 minutes from the bus stop which was handy. All perfect! Breakfast was my favourite.

Set in Paraty, 3 km from Paraty Airport, Pousada Apple House Paraty boasts an outdoor pool and access to Cachoeira do Tobogã waterfall. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Apple House is a beautiful hotel, 5 fantastic swimming pools, a great games room for our children and they loved the ice cream shop too. The restaurant has fabulous room and the breakfast is to die for, so much choice and the desserts are unreal. The staff are amazing, everyone we met walking along greats you a big smile, the stay go out of their way to do everything for you from checking in to arranging the transfers into Paraty each day and evening. Tassiana was amazing for organising the boat cruise, which was unbelievable, she really couldn’t do enough for us. Going up and beyond and awaiting when we needed some urgent laundry taken care of she arrange this for us too and also arranging a really nice transfer for us to Ilha Grande. Thank you Tassiana for everything and all the other staff at Apple House.

Located next to the Nossa Signora church, the Pousada Aconchego offers convenient accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The guesthouse features an outside pool area; Pontal Beach is within 2 km.

The colonial style rooms at the Pousada Aconchego come with air conditioning and satellite TV. Friendly polite staff. Breakfast with variety, everything fresh and tasty. It was the second time we stayed at Aconchego and they've changed for better. Car park is smaller now but still a safe place to leave the car while you can walk to restaurants, shops, bars and starting points of tours.

Pousada Corsario is situated in Paraty on the Costa Verde and is less than a 20-minute walk from the Praia do Pontal. It features an outdoor swimming pool and sauna.

The air-conditioned rooms at Corsario have cable TV and a minibar. The private bathrooms come with a hot shower. Very good Location on the riverside, good infrastructure and very subtropical plants around

Situated within 400 metres of Praia do Jardim and 1.7 km of Bus Central Station, Sintonia com Mar features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Angra dos Reis. Located in the Praia do Jardim district, the property provides guests with access to a hot tub. The guest house has family rooms. Amazing place to stay. Kelly and her staff are so friendly making me feel at home throughout my stay. I look forward to returning.

Located on the beachfront in Praia de Araçatiba and featuring a garden, Pousada Sobre A Rocha has free WiFi throughout the property. The property is around 80 metres from Aracatiba, 1.6 km from Araçatibinha Beach and 2.1 km from Longa Beach. The inn provides garden views and a barbecue. Lucas and Gabriella made a wondeful spot on this island. It is a less touristic part of Ilha Grande and great for hiking as well as relaxing in their garden or on one of te beaches. The breakfast was homemade and sitting on 'the grande table' you easily connect with other guests. The bed was very comfortable and the small kitchen gives you the possibility to cook your own dinner (bring fresh stuff from Angro dos Reis with you as the local supermarket does not have any fresh vegetables). Worth a visit!
