Very good location, the house is cozy and very clean. We rented all 3 rooms on the second floor for a group of 6 addults and 4 kids. Each room had a large bed and smaller bed. One room has a bunk bed and a lsrge bed. Each room has it's own bathroom. The host were very nice. I sat down with the owner snd chatted over a cold beer. I would return here any time.

Many host in the region did not speak English. But here yes. It is easy for the Czech (read Slavic) people to communicate in the Balkan with the locals in their own language. Except Albania. Where can I start? I have no words for the great hospitality and kindness of our hosts at guesthouse Marku. Even though we could not understand each other, we had the warmest welcome and the best stay! We could wash our clothes, which was very much appreciated after a sweaty hike from Valbonë to Theth. The room was brand new and extremely clean. But above all, the breakfast was one in a million! Fresh tomatoes, cucumber, grapes, peaches, red berries, bacon, eggs, honey, bread… and even handmade cheese, yogurt, beignets… To top this off, a nice cappuccino to start our day! We followed the recommendation to visit the local ceramic atelier and had diner at Mrizi i zanave, where we also got tour of the farm. Do not hesitate to book, you will not regret this amazing stay!I
