Very remote place. Fantastic if you prefer an authentic and family run small hotel. Very nice food and nice staff. If you look for a small place where you can relax, this is the place to be. Very nice beach and no beach boys. Don’t expect night life or animation here.

We were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities including a TV. The hotel staff were truly awesome - they were welcoming, friendly and always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. The location of the hotel is perfect, with stunning views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The hotel's facilities and services were top-notch, with a fantastic restaurant serving delicious meals and offered a great selection of soft drinks and fresh juices. One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic service provided by the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and their friendly and attentive approach really made me feel at home. Overall, I highly recommend the Isla Bonita hotel for anyone visiting Matemwe, Zanzibar. The combination of clean and comfortable rooms, stunning location, delicious food, and outstanding service makes it a top choice for accommodation on the island.

A nice, clean cosy place, in the main road yet very quiet. It is easy to access Nungwi and Kendwa beach from there. I felt comfortable throughout my stay and the owner and staff made sure I was from the moment I arrived until I left. Everything worked well. I loved the garden area and enjoyed having breakfast from there every morning.

The Villa was just on the beachfront. Great and quiet location if you want to chill and relax on the beach. The owners of the hotel are really really nice and helpful people. They helped us soo much on our last day. We are very very thankful for that. The villa was fully equipped with refrigerator, coffee machine, cutlery etc. There is everything you need. You can also book any kind of tour with them. Their tours are reliable and of good quality. One of the evenings, there was also a very nice live music in the restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay so much and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Zanzibar.

Simply perfect stay! The hotel is located directly on the beautiful Kendwa beach, the most beautiful beach of all. The room was spacious, very clean and meticulously maintained. The swimming pool was also beautiful, ideal for relaxing during breaks from the sea. The staff was exceptional: always friendly, smiling and available for every need. A gesture that I really appreciated was the possibility of leaving my luggage after check-out, before my flight. An unforgettable experience: highly recommended.

The place is very nice and super clean, all the staff is amazing, super kind and they clean your room every day. It has a nice area for breakfast, all the facilities are good, aircon works well, wifi is fast, swimming pool is nice, it has sun beds, etc. The breakfast is big enough, there are different options, the location is amazing, just a short walk to a nice beach, and a few minutes walking from different restaurants. The people around the area are very nice and friendly, we felt safe walking around all the time. A big Thanks to all the people from Ondo House, specially to Ali and Hassan, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during our stay, they helped us to arrange taxi, helped us to go around the ATM, they are very kind and good people! I highly recommend this place, we will definitely come back next season :)

You actually can’t describe the experience you can have there in words, but it’s definitely a visit worth to see for yourself! The owner is definitely a bit crazy, but in a GOOD way! Maybe you first have to get used to it, but then your stay will be amazing!!! Crazyman cares so much for his guests, he will get you to the beach and other places and can organize tours for you at good prices! We definitely can recommend to stay with this crazy dude and his crazy family:-)
