Charles was a very friendly and accommodating host. The apartment is equipped with everything you need - a coffee machine, ice maker, washing machine, barbecue grill, condiments and many more. The view is amazing, overlooking the East side of the island with beautiful sunrises. The spacious outside area was the icing on the cake.

Amazing Views with nice pool overlooking Mahe. Very clean rooms with all you need facilities. Breakfast was good too! Nice receptionist and hotel workers!

The owner is super friendly, he give us many information, e the location is in the middle of the island so you can arrive every where in 20 min.

I loved that Paolo and Nicole and all the staff they were super helpful and generous! They made sure everything is perfect and they gifted us a souvenir for our wedding. They decorated the room with flowers and it was an amazing touch! The property is beautiful, 5 min walk to the beach, perfect view of the terrace, wifi working perfectly,and the rooms were cleaned daily. You can order from breakfast if you wanna have lunch or dinner from the terrace and you will taste a super delicious food cooked with love.

Wonderful place, Special thanks to Ms. Jemma, Vinessa, John and the awesome housekeeper. They were so friendly. The place was clean and cozy, and it felt like home. The swimming pool was always clean, and the drivers were always on time and very dedicated.

Came here because it was the closest place to the airport that wasn't ridiculously overpriced. + large apartment, well equipped + comfortable bed + big shower

Booking online is always a bit of a gamble, but the Forest Lodge is exactly as promised. All the photos are legit and it is indeed a very cozy guest house a bit away from all the noise, except for the many animal sounds from the surrounding beautiful forest. What we valued most while staying there for 12 nights was first of all the outstanding kindness and helpfulness of the manager and his staff. We were even lucky enough to have been offered a dinner, which was absolutely fantastic. As mentioned, we were very happy with the ambient and the abundance of space in the room/studio. Siting on the balcony and drinking your favorite morning/evening drink while watching birds and fruit bats flying all around is as good as it gets. We were surprised how well the staff maintain clean and tidy rooms as well as the surroundings of the house. We were also a big fan of the in-house drinks fridge, which is self-service. The only thing that could see some improvement in my opinion is the kitchenette. It is useful, but very basic. The stove is painfully slow. A gas stove or induction plate would be a superb upgrade. For some people, it should be noted, that there is quite a walk to the beach. There is a small local beach, but it is not as nice as the main one in Beau Vallon and it is not extremely close either. That said, we had no problem walking every day and using the bus. There is plenty of bus stops all around and it is a good way to explore the island. From the lodge to the main road is about 8-10 minutes walk, and a further 1 minute to the bus stop and another 2 minutes to the closest shop. The local beach is around 10-15 minutes of walking and the Beau Vallon beach is around 30 minutes of walking. If this is a problem for you, rent a car. There is free parking at the lodge.

The property is located next to some of the most prettiest beaches of the island. The views are amazing and the pool is a perfect way to cool off on a hot day. The friendly staff took such a great care of me and helped with any issues/concerns I had. Will be back.
