A piece of paradise! We stayed in one of the stone houses, made our own food, sat under the wine branches. Swam in the pool. Took a lovely morning walk by the river (took left when we came to the river, found old ruins and a stream. In the evenings people sat by the main building eating tapas. Looked very cozy even though we didn’t.

Too much to describe in words. All I can say is that I felt like we stayed with relatives, everything was absolutely spot on, especially when things didn't go according to plan and both the hosts and staff were delightful. What a great find. This is such a superb location just 150m from the main centre. My room was at the top but the stairs are easy and I had a lot of luggage. The rooms are very clean and the ac works well hot and cold. The water was hot, the WiFi fast 32 down and 15 up), plus the host very responsive and helpful on WhatsApp. My bed was very comfortable. The room had a kitchenette which was useful to me for the fridge, otherwise I didn’t use it but I looked in the cupboards and everything you might need seemed to be both there and clean. It was good value and I would recommend it.

The location was very beautiful. The host was very kind and also gave us a tour of his own vineyard. There was wine in every room which was for free. All over would recommend the place to everyone who is travelling for a great experience overseeing Duoro Valley.
