The room was lovely and cured in all the details. Super clean with a big shower, bidet and big double/king bed. Luciana was very nice and explained everything for our staying in details. There was a complete breakfast. I'd go back again. Super central in Matera sassi/old town.

Everything is perfect. It’s a neat, clean and cozy nest. The place is renovated and decorated with taste, the old stone and carved ceilings are fantastic. Nicola takes good care of you, including a complete explanation of how to tour properly the city. The location is perfect, few hundred meters and you’re strolling along the cobblestone streets. Will come back!

Pre arrival communication from Antica Mateola was excellent. Giuseppe the amiable and very helpful host in charge was on hand to welcome us. Briefed us thoroughly on the accommodation and how to go around the sites of the historic old town and the ancient Sassi cave dwellings. Excellent start to our stay in Matera.

The location, the cleanliness, the hospitality, the breakfast every morning was also amazing!!! Parking assistance was a big help. The staff are super friendly and very helpful! Definitely coming back to this place next visit! Heating in the room helped alot as we visited during a colder season time! Cannot beat those amazing views from the rooms!! Thank You Vito!
