Centrally located, close to the ferry to the other towns. Good breakfast. Hot water. Small but usable and clean kitchen. The dorm is one big space with a lot of beds but the guests were responsible and respectful of each other. I’d recommend it for a transit.

San Juan is a very active and congested town. Even though Nuevo Sol is in the heart of the town with several restaurants within a hundred meters, the property behind its' walls is quiet and lush, surprisingly so. There's a beautiful yard with plenty of places to sit and soak up the beauty and tranquility. The owners are wonderful and easy to get along with. There's also a kitchen.

The owners are very nice and helpful. I had a pleasant nice time there 🙂 The room was big, the bed was comfortable, and there was a nice big shower with hot water. Beautiful view of the lake and of the mountains from the window and balcony 🙂

Our host Helder was exceptional - he made sure we had everything we needed, and he gave us excellent information about the town, available activities, and transportation. San Juan is a relaxing place to stay, and this hostel is a few streets away from the main street, so you have access to everything you need, but you get to live with the locals and have a more authentic experience.
