This hotel is perfectly located at the Spili village, where you can make daily trips to various interesting locations. The Spili village is amazing, with lots of shops, cafes and taverns. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is nice, clean and tasty. The cleaning of the room was almost daily, likewise with the changing of sheets and towels. Mrs Eleutheria is very flexible, kind and offers a lot of recommendations for the area. Definitely will stay there again!

The owners were very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay there. It was totally calm in the night and we made some very nice hiking walks from the hotel. The food downstairs in the taverne was really good and traditional. Efachisto póly!!!:-)

What a warm welcome and such a lovely appartment. Luxury with a double shower and a really comfortable bed. The people are really friendly and we were able to check in earlier. Too bad we couldn't stay longer. We loved the location. You walk into the old town the moment you step out the appartment!

Great location, really close to beach (3 minutes) and bus stop where buses to downtown go every hour. You can still walk to downtown along the beach, for 30 minutes, it is a pleasant one. A great selection of stray cats to pet on the patio. Kitchenette was handy to cook something simple, can use air conditioner or leave air pass through metal shutters which are common in Rethymno.

Everything was great for us! Apartment is artistically decorated, very clean and there is everything you need for your stay. The view is spectacular! If parking in front of the building is full, then there are parking options in 100m radius from the building. There are several tavernas, coffee shop and supermarket near the apartment. Nearby beaches can be reached 10-15 minutes by car. As already mentioned in other reviews hosts Penelope and Giannis are great, warm and very welcoming couple. All recommendations for this place!

The house is on a fabulous hilltop location with two lovely terraces that overlook the sea and the mountains. Because of the elevation there is a wonderful cooling breeze. In terms of facilities everything was catered for with the addition of a washing machine. The second bedroom is separate and semi self contained with its own bathroom- would be a great room for older children. There are 4 or 5 restaurants within a few hundred metres that are all good and despite proximity to the house, the location is incredibly peaceful. As for the hosts, Maria was absolutely wonderful and even picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station!

very nice place, and a very hospitable host. The view from the balcony is great and the studio is very well equipped, and the place is in a very quiet location. 10 minutes walking distance from Damnoni beach and 20-25 from Plakias I can say that the host welcomed us very well with excellent homemade olive oil and the traditional Cretan raki. We definitely recommend the place especially for active people looking for peace and quiet, we would definitely stay there again.
