Facing the royal palace, 6-10 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor, St Miguel covered market, Sol, Gran Via… Fantastic location and staff. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Rooms are huge, and spotlessly clean. And did I mention the staff? They are just fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble.

Perfect location: 5-minute walk to Prado, peaceful area with good restaurant options. Very clean hostal in a well-maintained traditional building, room cleaned and towels changed daily. Quite sleep thanks to window facing a courtyard.

LOCATION! It’s along Gran Via and walking distance to everything - Sol, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace of Madrid, Catedral de la Almudena, Temple of Debod, etc. There’s a lift so you don’t have to worry if you have bug and heavy luggage. The room was clean and quite spacious to my surprise.

Hostal Aresol is located only 100 metres from kilometre Zero, next to the Puerta del Sol. This is an excellent place from which to enjoy the sites of Madrid. There is free WiFi available throughout.
