The host Tony was super welcoming, professional and friendly. I loved the quiet location within 5 mins driving distance of the town centre.

The place is immersed in nature but has everything you need. It's a perfect place to spend a couple of days away from the city!

Great location to Mullingar High Street. I hope to stay again when I visit the area next year.

On the West bank of the River Shannon, Shannonside House is set within large, private gardens. Guests can enjoy home cooking and free parking, and Athlone's centre is a 5-minute walk away. This was the most beautiful B and B we have stayed at ever. The service was fabulous and very pleasant. The house was immaculate and clean .
