A very recommended choice of resort in Bintan. We booked a garden view 2-bedroom apartment. It was lovely, overlooking the beach of Lagoi. Food was amazing and the staff were all sincere and nice.

Guests can enjoy a number of activities offered in the area, such as golfing and cycling. The property is a 12-minute drive away from Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT) Ferry Terminal. The villa was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable and the private pool was great fun. The location was very peaceful, and we didn’t hear any noise overnight. Beds were comfortable and rooms were really nicely done. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They helped us to arrange transfers to activities we wanted to do on the island. The beach here was quiet, clean and very beautiful. The hotel food was nice and the restaurant has a lovely beach view. There are also food options in Lagoi which is only 5mins away in a taxi and the taxi cost very little. The hotel arranged taxis for us which made it super easy to pop in when we wanted to pick bits up. Information online is fairly scarce about Lagoi, so for info we found warung yeah! Which is a reasonably priced eatery offering a pretty extensive menu at a smaller cost than the resort hotels, and we found a bbq place in Lagoi. There are also some street vendors selling world food options, again for a good price. There is also a bar but that was on the pricey side. You could easily eat in Lagoi for a good price. Alternatively if travelling further afield the restaurants at Nirwana Gardens were lovely and about 15mins away by taxi. We really enjoyed our stay overall.

Styled like a Balinese village, air-conditioned chalets at Mayang Sari are fitted with wooden interiors. They include a daybed and tea/coffee making facilities. Private bathrooms come with shower facilities. Mayang Sari is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are so helpful and friendly and made our stay really enjoyable. The accommodation is of a high standard and there is a great choice of restaurants. It really is a piece of paradise. It was very quiet as we were in the rainy season, but that suited us as we were relaxing after 5 weeks travelling around New Zealand.

Among the various facilities are a private beach area, a terrace, as well as a restaurant. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. It is more a family hotel; most of the guests came with their kids. Food was good, particularly the buffet option. Their staff was very kind and helpful. The massage facility was excellent.
