Philippe is the perfect, welcoming host. His pre and on-site information is very helpful for being in Poitiers. The building has been restored to a high standard with obvious pride and attention to detail. The garden and falaises in the back are beautiful and captivating. Breakfast was spectacular and presented in such an aesthetically way. We felt privileged to stay here and met other travelers who felt the same. Highly recommended. If it is of concern to you - Philippe speaks perfect English and provides parking if requested.

A beautiful chateau, still lived in by the family who have owned it for centuries. The room was lovely, beautiful view, and the bed was comfortable. I especially appreciated the top sheet with blanket instead of the heavy, hot duvets that hotels have turned to for their convenience. (Quilts available in the closet for those who want them.)A large bathroom with tub. There is a sitting room available as well. The grounds are beautiful too. And breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the stay.

Dalam 49km dari Chateau de Loches dan 25km dari Château d'Azay-le-Ferron, La Marjolaine mempunyai WiFi percuma dan teres. It was homely and Marie-Odile was the perfect hostess. The property was just outside the town and extremely quiet and ‘rural’. The breakfast was ideal, with homemade jams being provided . A real home from home. We will definitely stay there again
