DenmarkGenerally rating a hotel with 10 out of 10 is something I do only if the place is exceptionally good. Here I would have liked to rate with an 11 if possible. In principle the hotel is not "a hotel with a restaurant", it is a restaurant which by chance has gotten a tiny hotel in second floor. So the hotel part alone is nice - besides the picturesque surroundings, the whacking part is the restaurant which has one Michelin star (and deserves surely more). The complete menu is quite small and consists of local produced items, recipes are gourmet-refined Alsatian, even with the wine, you can stay on the terroir ( even though there is choice, no need to leave the region, at least for me as a Rieslingomaniac ). Enjoy the amuse-gueules! E.g. a microscopic cube of Presskopf on some mustard catapulted me back to my childhood experience of just this food, pretty much like - an Anton Ego experience in real life.
