I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

The spacious tents are set on raised platforms and feature a private deck overlooking the open plain. Each tent has electricity and an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Staff are excellent and very accommodating. From Arrival to departure everything is exceptional. Highly recommended.

Had a great and peacefull time at Horizon Savannah. The tents are well maintained and the shared are was more than equiped for a bush visit. The night sounds in the tent is amazing. The staff at the Lodge were so friendly and welcoming, and really made our stay 10/10. All of the food made for us was delicious. The chef even prepared me a special gluten free option each meal, including snacks, which was much appreciated! I have done one safari before but the wildlife we saw was out of this world. A heard of 20 Elephants came to the lodge one evening and we're drinking out of our plunge pools. It was a once in a lifetime experience that we will treasure.
