This tented house offers a kitchenette, en suite bathroom and a private veranda and boma area with a fire pit. Great location, away from the residential life and all the noises that come with it. Very serene environment with wild-life and mother nature all around. The breakfast was self-catered so just the way we like it.

EVERYTHING absolutely beautiful place so peaceful... the staff were all amazing even coming to put the fire on for us. The place was spotless and Jan was such a joy. The game drive we took was wonderful and the game ranger on it(can't remember his name) was incredible, really answered all our questions explained everything we were seeing... we honestly didn't want to leave.

Leon and Meleny are wonderful hosts and even provided a wonderful dinner for us on our first night, delivered to our beautiful cottage - do eat here if you can - the food was wonderful and Meleny even made vegetarian food for me. We had drinks and lovely conversation with our hosts and you are definitely welcomed as friends. You know nothing would be too much trouble for these lovely people and they will help and advise you if you can. Additionally their cottage was beautiful with everything you could need and has the best bathroom, possibly in the world

Very well appointed self catering unit. Immersed in nature, very relaxing just lazing in the pool and having the wildlife casually grazing nearby. Aesthetics of the unit tie in very well with the surroundings. The host is very friendly and helpful and always available to assist with any queries or requests. We visited in 2023 and were surprised and pleased upon our return at what seemed to be an upgrade and maintenance of all the features and amenities. The ultimate "better than glamping experience" in my opinion. Perfect for enjoying sunset (or sunrise!!) cocktails, enjoying your own heated splash pool at any time of the day, braaiing and relaxing by the fire while immersed in nature while still also close enough to nearby shops and attractions. Will definitely go back time and again!

The tent includes a shared bathroom fitted with a shower. The unit has 2 futons. Traveling for the first time into this part of "historical" South Africa and after hearing about the negative stuff, I wasn't sure how it will be, but "Lungi" made it a "smooth" ride. He knows many people around and will help you out in getting rid of the negative perceptions/stereotypes you have about this place. He can also spontaneously organize tours and guide you in showing different places around Jo'burg/Soweto. After staying here, I can say that staying here was better than in staying in Jo'burg. The room & the toilets are clean...and no mosquitoes (at least inside the room). So, it was a learning & a great stay! :)
