Situated in Ko Mak, 1.3 km from Police Station, Baan AoKao KohMak features accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This place is the best! And such a good price. I stayed in a beachfront bungalow for 9 nights, and it was a wonderful experience! If you want a more peaceful and quiet place to be after being on Koh Chang or Koh Kood, this is the spot! Family run place, everyone here is SO kind! Very roomy and clean bungalow with a large front porch area mere steps from the sand. On site restaurant serves great drinks and food, from traditional Thai food to pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. A small play area for the little ones if you have kids. Motorbike rental there as well. The beach is great for awesome sunset views, shell picking, swimming, and just chilling out. Everything quiets down after 8 pm for a good night's sleep. No late night parties or thumping sound systems here. Away from the main road enough for zero traffic noise. The busier part of Koh Mak with more choices for bars, restaurants, and stores is just a 10 minute scooter ride away. The staff here will pick you up when you arrive on the island and take you to your boat when you leave. Will definitely go back!

With lake views, The River Retreat Koh Mak is situated in Ko Mak and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Lovely staff, calm atmosphere and cozy accommodation surrounded by nature. Comfortable room with ac, mini fridge and a kettle, and drinking water is also provided! We loved it there and extended our stay.
