The food was absolutely delicious—local, fresh, and full of flavor. Every meal felt like a true taste of the region. The host was incredibly attentive and reachable 24/7. Even when there was a miscommunication about our guide’s departure time, I was able to reach them at 5:30 AM, and they immediately helped us sort things out. That level of dedication made our stay feel effortless. The tent and accommodations were spotless, offering the most breathtaking view I’ve ever experienced from a tent. We had a direct view of the waterfall, which we later visited and even stood on top of—an unforgettable moment. While the stay may feel a bit more expensive, it’s worth every penny if you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime, comfortable experience in nature. One of the highlights was hiking to Ella Rock early in the morning. The hotel has a backroute to the trail, and their guide took us along with so much care—helping us over rocks and steps while letting us go at our own pace. It made the hike feel safe, enjoyable, and truly special. The people here are genuinely warm and hospitable. Getting to Ella town was easy, as the hotel arranged tuk-tuks at very reasonable prices whenever we needed. They also organized a seamless pickup from the train station, making our journey stress-free. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and incredible hospitality, this place is a must-visit!

Right away, he proposed a cozy room alternative with the most breathtaking view – a truly beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. The host’s kindness and attention to detail made my stay incredibly comfortable. He arranged all my tuk-tuk rides, making it easy to explore Haputale without any hassle. He also gave me fantastic recommendations for things to see and do in the area, helping me make the most of my time there. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how he checked in on me throughout the day, ensuring I felt safe and supported. His thoughtful care made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued, adding a personal touch to my stay that I’ll always remember. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views and a host who truly cares about your experience, I highly recommend this eco-lounge camp. My stay was a delight from beginning to end, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the warm hospitality.

Well-equipped and comfortable tent. Very friendly and attentive staff. Cool hangout area complete with hammocks. Fairly fast wifi. Super zen vibes with the rain. All in all an amazing stay, thank you.

Guests will have a special experience as the mobile home features a pool with a view. They were waiting for us to welcome, staff were so cooperative, specially Gayan Akila is so professional and kind. If you really want to have jungle vibes, this is the best place.

Sudha is the most hospitable host and it was a pleasure to stay here. The location is great—right next to the train station off the main tourist street. The route for Ella Rock starts here. And the way to the 9-arches bridge is also an easy walk from here. I also greatly appreciated the arrangement of a scooter and driver for a day excursion to Diyaluma. Also, the cooking class is highly recommended—and delicious! This has definitely been the loveliest stay in Sri Lanka so far!
