This tent provides a fireplace. Providing free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and slippers. It is an absolutely beautiful and charming area. Nearby wood stroll by a stream. The yurt was delightfully furnished, spacious, and cosy, even in the middle of winter. We were there (3 of us) just after Christmas for a small birthday getaway. Veronika was super helpful if we needed anything. I would definitely go there again. Perhaps for an even longer stint.

The owner, Martin is the nicest, kindest gentleman and I can honestly say there isn't a thing he wouldn't do for you. It's a great little haven in a beautiful part of the country. Can't recommend it enough. Definitely an experience not to be missed!

I liked that everything was very well thought out, you could tell that it was a passion project for the owners. The way that the cabins were laid out wasn’t to maximise revenue but to give each their privacy and maximise the views. Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and the nearby village had shops open late with nearly anything you could want. Can’t emphasise enough that this place was a cut above anything else. Just has to be experienced. It’s refreshing to pay for something and get more than you expected.

Comfortable bed, good towels and well appointed kitchen for several days of self-catering. A great location for walks and enjoying birdsong. We liked the outdoor patio in the sunshine and a cosy wood fire in the evening.

Our stay was perfect the location is central with everything you need a stones throw away. The tent was comfortable and has a heater and electric blanket so at night it wasn’t cold! Parking was right beside us which was super handy and the complimentary breakfast in the nearby cafe was great! We will definitely be back!

Knockree Hostel is an amazing and friendly place!! The facilities were very clean, the room was warm, and the shared spaces very comfortable and welcoming!! The staff were very helpful and friendly too. It’s a very nice place to stay at, in the middle of the countryside, with a wonderful view on the sunrise above the mountains in the morning! The location is also perfect to join the Wicklow Way, only a 10 min walk. Thank you Knockree Hostel!!
