The location was perfect for our needs, excellent for hiking and scenery. Five minute drive for groceries and restaurants. The accomodation was very quiet. We slept extremely well.

This is a magic location; lakeside with a lovely little animal park next door, and close to a series of beautiful waterfalls. A very relaxed atmosphere. The accommodation and food were basic, but good. There are family rooms in the main building, also a couple of pretty Gypsy Caravan style places by the lake and a couple of wood-framed tents to one side of the animal park. The staff were really great.

Each caravan includes a furnished garden area and an equipped kitchenette. Shared bathroom facilities are nearby. This is a super family camping site. It’s close to nearby towns and lovely walks. The husband and wife team are helpful and friendly. I stayed in one of the wooden Cabins and it was super comfortable. Plenty of toilets and showers. LOVED IT
