United KingdomOh my goodness, where to start! This place is paradise.
It is located at the foot of large rocky hills and situated round a beautiful lake.If you are a nature lover, this place is for you. It is quiet, yet the facilities are fabulous.
The quaint living areas are fantastic - we stayed for three nights in a converted lorry. The bed was massive (with mosquito net) sheets were clean and the bathroom was built into the rock behind with a secret little area for us to sit out in and examine the wildlife around. We saw nesting birds, butterflies and goats in the rocks above.
There’s a beautiful infinity pool, places for children and adults to play in the extensive grounds.
The restaurant has an extensive menu and the bar is well stocked.
We hired pushbikes one day (free) and there are loads of lovely small country roads around so you can visit the local villages - everyone was very welcoming.
We also hired motorbikes and had a few trips further afield. Bike costs are very cheap around £6 for a day.
Staff were SO accommodating, polite and helpful.
