Peaceful Retreat in Chiang Mai Our stay at this newly built villa surrounded by jungle and farming land was wonderful. Everything was spotless and new, and the views were absolutely stunning. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, greeting us warmly upon arrival—even with our last-minute, late-night booking—and preparing a delicious meal for us. They even waved us off when we left, which made the experience feel extra special. We needed to check out extra early, and the hosts thoughtfully accommodated this by preparing breakfast for us, which we enjoyed while watching the sunrise. It was a magical moment that truly made our stay unforgettable. Whilst the villa is secure, as with anywhere in Thailand, there can occasionally be unwanted insects. We had bug spray with us, so it wasn’t an issue, but we’re sure that if we had mentioned it to the hosts, they would have had some on hand and handled it right away. The serene surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made this an incredible escape. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy Thailand’s natural beauty!

very good hostel. i had a good stay in the dorm. bed is firm but not too firm. bathroom is ok. towel is provided. clean. good wifi. bycicles available for rent, also motorbikes. there is a couple of washing machines on the roof, all free incl. soap and softener, state of the art facilities! mr fisher is very kind. hostel is in the middle of the interesting Nimman hood, with lots of cafes, many massages, many weed dispensaries around. cool shops and people who think of themselves as trendy. the hostel is perfectly located, altough a longish walk to get to chiang mai old city. thanks a lot, will be back

Such a beautiful place with stunning views of the mountains. We stayed in one of the bubble rooms and the bathtub was amazing. The staff were so accomodating and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything. The shower was also really good (one of the best we had in Thailand). It’s a great location for exploring Chiang Dao. They offer a dinner service as well which is fairly priced and tasted great. No need to stress if you arrive late in the day and are hungry.

The owners were so sweet! Before arriving, I let them know that I'm very warm when I sleep. They were accommodating, giving us a special fan, and showing us how to use it. We were very comfortable! We didn't know much about Chiang Mai when we arrived and they sent a very thorough Google maps locations list, perfect for filling weeks of activity. If you're not sure how to explore, look no further. They have a fully equipped kitchen onsite. Apart from this, they have a pizza oven and put pizzas in the fridge that you can buy for a very reasonable price. The area is spectacular. It's close enough that in 30 minutes, you're in the heart of the city. Far enough that you're in a quaint, and very lively, community in the pristine rice fields. Close enough to get to the city if you want, but you won't need to. I'll say it again, the owners were very kind and helpful. A very special spot that you shouldn't miss!
