We were traveling around Issyk-Kul Lake with our three young children, searching for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. When I came across Taberik, I was initially hesitant — the place had no reviews, and traveling with kids, comfort is our top priority. But the location looked so stunning that I decided to take a chance. And I’m so glad I did — Taberik exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Meyrambek, the owner, who welcomed us with tea and cookies and shared that they had just opened for their very first season. The entire place is brand new and built with great attention to detail. The setting is breathtaking: nestled at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by untouched nature, with yurts and cozy cabins scattered across the land. The cabins have heating, hot water, and high-speed internet via Starlink, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. The interiors are thoughtfully designed — wooden furniture, natural materials, spotless cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. You can immediately feel that a lot of care, resources, and investment went into creating this place. We passed by several other guesthouses along the way, and honestly, none of them came close to Taberik. It’s truly a different level of comfort and beauty. There’s also a stunning waterfall nearby, adding to the magic of the place. This location touched my heart so deeply that I couldn’t resist writing this review — and I don’t do that often. Amazing and breathtaking place that has everything in it 🩷Jurta is in a quiet place in the woods but not far from the village. You are surrounded by nature, a flowing river, horses and cows grazing in the pastures in front of the yurt and we had a beautiful view of the red rocks. An absolutely peaceful place that will never be forgotten. The yurt itself is great, just the right size and everything you could wish for, the owners have really thought of everything- kitchenette, all the essentials- perfect equipment, comfortable chairs, comfortable bed, table, mirror- wow, wow, wow.The social load is extra outside the yurt and everything is great, hot water, flush toilet, really comfort that we did not expect 🙂 On arrival I got lunch and dinner in the back of the building in the village and breakfast was fine too. People are very nice and helpful, I highly recommend them to everyone. It's made with heart😍 We spent two wonderful days in the yurt, thank you :)

Everything was great. The location has free private parking available. The yurt is clean, and there’s even a heater you can use if you get cold. Breakfast was delicious, and the host was very friendly, always there to help with anything we needed.

Everything, we felt welcome from the start and the host helped us with everything. He makes amazing breakfast and he even helped us booking another accommodation after we came back from hiking since he was unfortunately booked out that night. Would love to come and stay here again. Peaceful location that was convenient before our hike into the mountains. Excellent breakfast and nice garden to relax in. Friendly staff.
