Staying at Solar de Vila Meã was a beautiful experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the setting — it’s absolutely stunning. Surrounded by vineyards and peaceful countryside, the entire property feels like a hidden retreat. Every view, whether from the room, the pool, or the garden, looked like a painting. There’s a real sense of calm and space here that’s hard to describe but easy to fall in love with. The restaurant, Barro, completely exceeded expectations. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve, which made the whole experience even more special. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty with exceptional food and a sense of quiet luxury, I couldn’t recommend Solar de Vila Meã more highly.

We were delighted with our stay, the staff were all so friendly (Eduardo and Filipa in particular) and couldn't do enough to help and make sure we enjoyed our visit. The hotel is beautiful and in a stunning location, the rooms were big and comfortable too. The pool was perfect for a dip and there was always room to park the car. Breakfast was delicious and offered a very good selection. We would absolutely return here and would recommend to others.

Dating back to the 16th century, Hotel Paço de Vitorino is located a 10-minute drive from Ponte de Lima centre, featuring a Baroque-style garden. Paço de Vitorino is a real gem. Large comfortable rooms, swimming pool with amazing view, pool bar and dinner in the main house. I can go on and on.. We visited as a family with young kids and it was perfect.
