This modern hotel is located in the Panamanian city of David, just 3 minutes’ walk from Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra Park. It offers a fitness centre, a sauna and an outdoor pool. We stay at the Hotel de Ciudad David every time we visit David. The staff are always extremely friendly and professional, the breakfast is great and my kids love the pool. It is in an extremely central location, easily able to get a taxi if you want to explore further afield.

Also, the hotel was pet friendly as advertised, located close to a Romero grocery store, and offered an included breakfast that left me feeling ready to take on the day ahead!

We travel by motorcycle and we could easily find the place. It's just outside the centre of David. It feels remote but you're actually very nearby the main road. We used Uber taxis to go to the supermarkets/restaurants. The hotel is outstanding. We had a room near the pool. Our room was lovely, nicely decorated and the AC was really nice. There is a big fridge in de common lounge, which you could also get some drinks from. Which was really nice after a long, hot, day of riding! Breakfast was very good. Pascal and his wife are really friendly and helpful and we had some nice conversation! Their dogs are so friendly as well and I loved to pet them. The hotel is very quiet and we enjoyed sitting outside and listening and watching all the birds, squirrels, iguanas, lizards etc. Would definitely recommend to stay of you're going to David!

Coffee Estate Inn features free WiFi and views of Volcan Baru. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. The volcan view is so amazing and the place is perfect for us to stay. It's safe, clean and very quite. The staffs are so friendly. We really enjoy everyday there.

And they were very open to our request. The room was wonderful, the activities they recomendes were perfect. As a bonus they have a very kind and profesional barista in the Coffe Shop, She is great and the coffe tour that they give to us was wonderful 10/10

Cabanas Rio Encantado features a year-round outdoor pool and rancho with terrace, it is strategically placed in Caldera which is between David and Boquete, a total of 24 km from David, The cottages... Everything about this property is amazing. It is private, gorgeous, clean, well planned, quiet, in the perfect location, gracious hosts. This may well be the best property we have ever stayed at in our years of traveling. The treehouse was an exceptional experience. The sound of the river lulled us to sleep. We watched many birds along the river. We were close to hot springs, the canyon,and Boquete. If yoi love nature, this is paradise.

Offering a daily breakfast buffet with variety of cold, hot and healthy stations, Aranjuez Hotel & Suites is located only 5 minutes’ from Enrique Malek International Airport in David. The value for the dinners was excellent. I ordered something different every night and each meal was excellent. There was a problem with the elevator going to the main lobby and the staff made sure that I was able to reach the main lobby with no issues. The staff only found solutions to problems.

The Inn at Palo Alto is a quaint property located over Palo Alto River, 3 km from the city centre. It offers a free daily breakfast buffet and free WiFi. That is a breathtaking relaxing indulgence. I had a room overlooking the volcano, a very good breakfast comes with the view over the river AND they give salmon for breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise! The jacuzzi is well maintained, hot, and again with the view. The location is perfect for beautiful walks around.
