All rooms come with cable TV.... We stayed at this hotel for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The people working there were super friendly and hospitable. It's in an excellent location in downtown Zacatecas, a 3 minute walk to the cathedral. Our room was large and comfortable, with a nice bed and new sheets and bedding. They provide drinking water, which is great - we don't want to fill the world with discarded plastic water bottles. They serve breakfast (which you pay for from a reasonably priced menu) and cafe de olla which is free. There's a rooftop terrace with a great view of the city, with cablecars to Cerro la Bufa going right over your head. It was great value, and as I've already mentioned, the staff are genuinely welcoming and helpful.

Located in Zacateca’s old town and 10 minutes’ walk from its cathedral, El Meson de la Merced features a restaurant and rooms with free Wi-Fi. It offers free parking and a 24-hour reception. A very large and central hotel. We were given a room on the main floor with a door onto the main atrium. We prefer an outside view so they moved us up to the 3rd floor with a wonderful view on a small square. The breakfast is wonderful. When we were the only guests in the restaurant we ordered from a menu. When there were more people they set up a buffet. We especially liked the parakeets that were around corner from our room. Very central location. Free parking.
