The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a shuttle to and from the airport, The room was spacious and clean. We arrived very late due to flight delay and they served us dinner in the room which was very nice and unexpected. I will say that the food was excellent. Every meal was over the top, beautiful presentation and the tasted even better. The resort is quite a distance from the airport so be prepared. However the location is beautiful and I had no need to leave the resort.

I had an excellent stay at the Millennium Hotel. The property is new, calm, and beautifully designed, with a personalized touch that truly makes a difference. The room was part of a small, well-thought-out unit—modern, functional, and spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast was complete and delicious. The service was impeccable, and the location is both peaceful and ideally situated. What I appreciated most was the absolute quiet—no noise during the day or at night, making it a true haven of peace. A truly remarkable experience—I highly recommend it!

My stay at Caravan Dakhla was absolutely unforgettable. The service was excellent, the facilities very comfortable, and the location simply breathtaking. I want to highlight Soufiane and Hamid, the waiters, who were always so kind, attentive, and welcoming. A big thank you as well to Abdu, the kitesurf instructor — such a professional, passionate and patient teacher. I’ll definitely come back!

We found the staff here truly helpful and friendly! And we even got to meet the owner, who was so welcoming and seems to truly have a vision about welcoming people to her hotel and to Dakhla. The kindness of the staff really helped us to relax and enjoy our stay. The view from the rooms with the balconies is so lovely as well! The breakfast was lovely- a wide array of fresh made pastries, fresh egg options, great coffee. Also, the staff was so friendly and very proactive in taking care of our needs!

It beautifully showcased the perfect harmony and collaboration between Moroccan and other African staff — as if reflecting Dakhla’s unique position between West Africa and Moroccan territory. Everyone was kind, smiling, and consistently attentive to every request. I really enjoyed the outdoor activities they proposed, including camel riding, scuba diving, and a full package tour to places like the White Dune, Sebkhat Imlili, Porto Rico Beach, and Asmaa (the thermal spring), among others. They also provide a convenient shuttle service from/to the airport. The hotel itself features a beautiful private beach where you can swim and relax. It’s also a perfect place for families. Even if you’re travelling with a toddler, the chef and kitchen staff will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I sincerely thank the entire team for making our stay so pleasant. Everything was wonderful and relaxing — I truly enjoyed my time with my family.

Georgeous hotel and amazing staff. The rooms are stunning and have everything you need. We had a room facing the ocean and it was so great to hear the ocean while sleeping. First impressions are the location in front of the ocean view is remarkable, then you have a warm welcome and smile from a professional staff of the reception team. The hotel is super clean and safe 24/7, cleaning team ready every morning for deep cleaning of the rooms. In general a great team of professionals who makes you come back happily and honestly we do not regret any moment in this hotel since 2013, yes exactly it’s been years that we’re happy to come to the same place me and my family.

The Calipau Sahara hotel enjoys an idyllic location by the Dakhla bay, 3 kilometres from the airport and 5 kilometres from the city centre. The hospitality at this place is just out of this world. I forgot my adapter and needed to work, the adapters at the hotel did not work for me so owner went to buy a connecting cable. This level of customer service is rare and special to experience. Also, the place is very well maintained and the rest of the staff team have such warmth. Looking forward to coming back already….

The first real, authentic 3 star room I have found in Mauritania - a quiet, spotless, very comfortable stay. Wifi also excellent (can't comment on other facilities). The staff (Moussa and Mamadou) were super helpful.
