If you want to do excursions like a tour in the ancient city or a safari: they will arrange it and they make sure you have everything you’ll need. The chef also makes delicious meals. Maho was our best stay in Sri Lanka within 4 weeks. Large rooms, great sanitairy, and a lovely bed with pillows feeling like clouds.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Kandy then BOOK NOW! The Comfort is an amazing home stay, Krushna and his wife/ family and dog Bella are so welcoming. The property is beautiful , rooms and bed lovely and comfortable, hot shower and nothing is to much trouble. Kushna arranged our trips and helped/ guide us around Kandy , picking up , booking and at very little cost. Do not pre arrange trips book this place and speak to the family to help plan what you wish to do. I was a solo female traveller and made to feel part of the family. The food was absolutely beautiful with fresh juices from fruit from the garden to a lovely and plentiful breakfast and dinners. The property is not in the centre so you are able to relax from City life and Kushna will help advise you on what to do and provide lifts, tours to various attractions. Thank you for letting stay with you , if/when I return to Kandy here is where I would stay! I miss you already!

A little cumbersome to get to (15 minutes in car or tuktuk for about $3 USD) but worth it. Incredible hosts. Comfortable bed, good shower, plenty of space for luggage, awesome balcony with view and nice chairs, and nice breakfast (half Sri Lankan half western, with a large lot of tea).

Magical property, I did not want to leave. I stayed more, than was planned. This is the villa totally local style, everything in villa is customised. Small design detailes even. Old atlas of Sri Lanka, books about Budda. I came at 4 am, 2 persons were waiting for me, serving tea! In holy hight! Rooms are magical, nothing is from wholesale market. Cleaning is every 10 minutes. Pool is clean, mango trees on the territory. Chef is perfect, cooking meal speacially for you! Prices are low !!! Even on gas station food can be more expensive. Customised soap with fragrance of spices!!! Shaving kits, tooth brushes, all provided. PIANO MUSIC playing in the villa. I can not recomend this place more!!!!! Opposite villa there is big hotel, but its not even in comparison with villa Clove - in Clove you are happy to come back !!!! Thank you, dear people of Villa clove!

The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Sigiriya and Minneriya National Park. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and tranquil stay in nature. Suddenly we booked the hotel .we are not expected like such a welcoming by hosts.it’s such a like small jungle beside the road.such a valuable herbs ,spices and so many fruits in the garden they well maintained. Special thing is we sow so many birds and squirrels were playing around the garden.our room out side was full of flowers and trees Rooms are neat and clean,bed was comfortable with all facilities . Special thing is foods that they made from garden vegetable and home made spices,the best Sri Lankan rice and curry that I ever had.they felt like home to us. Loved see again that beautiful smiles and kindness.
