Very quiet and relaxing and far from the crowd of cities. We had a really great time relaxing within nature. The staff were very nice and helped us a lot because we had some issues with the train station. I would definitely recommend visiting for tranquility and relaxing.

The ryokan features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. The onsen was spacious, with an option for both indoor and outdoor. The futons were very comfortable in our rooms, with an added bonus of some snacks that the room service staff would kindly refill. Breakfast and dinner were both buffet, with a wide variety of food. If you choose to stay more than one night, the staff will nicely prepare an additional course ontop of the buffet for dinner at no additional charge (which was a pleasant surprise!). The hotel has a night snack in the form of ramen as well. The staff were very friendly, even the shuttle bus drivers.

We stayed for my birthday and it was an incredible experience. The hotel is right on the water. The welcome and check-in was superb - very relaxing and through. The room was large and had full water views. The onsen facilities were amazing, particularly the outdoor onsen right next to the bay. The kaiseki dinner was amazing. So much food and all delicious. So happy we decided to stay here.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Todaya is located in Toba. The property is a 3-minute walk from JR Toba station and is a convenient location from where to tour Ise-Shima. Free WiFi access is available. The breakfast was delicious. The food tasted very fresh. We especially appreciated that many of the food stations had attendants preparing the dishes. It got very busy at one point, but we never had an issue getting our food. The shuttle to and from Toba Station was very convenient. We contacted the staff from a payphone at Toba Station. We were able to communicate our needs through our very limited knowledge of the Japanese language. The driver took our luggage and said they would store it till we checked in. This allowed us to continue on with our sightseeing plans without physically going to the hotel first. That really helped maximize our time in Toba! Wonderful Service!

Boasting open-air hot spring baths and ocean views from all rooms, Toba Grand hotel is located a 5-minue drive from JR/Kintetsu Toba Train Station. Free pick-up shuttles are offered between the station and the hotel. There is a beach right in front of the property, and free in-room WiFi is available. We had a very spacious room with a beautiful ocean view. We especially enjoyed the complimentary beverage service. The staff was very helpful. Food was very good, but did not offer much in variety if staying multiple days. It's a little out of the way, but there is shuttle service available to Toba Station if you wish to venture off and do some sightseeing. Just be sure to leave and return between the shuttle service hours.

On-site dining and en suite private baths are provided for guests’ convenience. Good breakfast, bathhouse and certainly shuttle bus services helped a lot! Sadly, the pool was not available although I was planning to swim there. The view from bed room was amazing.
