Le Malve Cave Retreat Cave Retreat is located in Sasso Caveoso, the historic part of Matera. It boasts air-conditioned rooms with a town-view balcony and a buffet breakfast. We loved that both our rooms had a balcony with amazing views of the city! They were very spacious and comfortable, and the hotel staff adapted to our needs exceptionally. The breakfast was very complete, and the space it was held at was beautiful! It is located right in the middle of the town!

World class facilities, the staff is phenomenal, so helpful, what a beautiful place. I can’t wait to go back again.! Thank you guys, you made me fall in love with Italy even more! Matera was a highlight.
