Well.. a nice surprise. A few years ago, a colleague stayed a few times and did not rate the place. Not sure if it's changed ownership, but it's a beautiful, quirky building, very nicely restored in a mid century kind of way. I was in a room in the 700s which are on the hillside through a James Bond villain tunnel and lift. Nicely appointed room, well done bathroom all super clean. And an actual minibar. With things in it. Proper cups for coffee, not paper. A former colleague joined for dinner in the Cafe, with well presented food and good service, the downstairs bar is really a hidden gem too. All in all, way exceeded my expectations and thoroughly recommend it.

Set in a 15th-century manor house 7 km outside Vejle, this hotel features old-world charm decor, free WiFi and an eco-certified restaurant with a well-stocked wine cellar. I loved everything! The hotel is beautiful, the views are breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious. The people where extremely kind, helpful and with a big smile. My family and I loved staying here. Everything was perfect.

Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were welcoming & friendly, the chef even helped us with our luggage to our room, met the owners who were lovely also ( & their dog :-) ) , and location was perfect with onsite parking.
