Everything about our stay at this wonderful hotel was perfect! Great and helpful and friendly staff, beautiful room with a nice garden. We stayed for 10 days at this hotel on the lovely Gulangyu Island and would love to come back to Gulangyu Heitan Hotel! We would like to say thank you from our hearts for this stay! The location is very strategic. Near food area and walking distance to tourist attractions area and shopping area. Room size, cleanliness and facilities up to the standard. Staffs are very friendly. They have good cafe and aromatherapy for sale. Definitely look forward to comeback again.

Breakfast top up is worth it for the convenience and comfort, not a huge spread, however expect quality homely breakfast with food like soya bean milk, roasted sweet potatoes, I like their German ham. In short, Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique, out of the beaten track and tranquil experience in Xiamen! They are new on booking.com , hence you will not get much review. These guys will do well once it gets popular, so do go before it gets way too crowded.

The breakfast was very good. Our welcome soup and fruits was lovely. It was a delight to be served the afternoon tea in the tea room. A very good experience. The staffs were excellent and friendly. Very very helpful and we felt welcomed by Mr Zhang. The whole place is lovely, like entering a traditional Chinese courtyard house with tea rooms and a little garden and greeneries. Well preserved with probably the original wooden doors. Would recommend to stay to experience the atmosphere.
