We really enjoyed our stay here. It was warm and comfortable, a very inviting place to stay. It is maintained to a very high standard and exceptionally clean. The decor is lovely. Small things but having nice toiletries and thoughtful care put into the tea/coffee/drinks area in the room makes a difference. We had a room with a large bed and a sofa bed which was very well made up for our child. Both beds were very comfortable. A lovely lounge area with a fire in the evening. Kind and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Very nostalgic hotel. Beautiful grand building and spectacular grounds. Old decor in communal areas but modern and spacious rooms with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Cant beat the location, right in the middle of the village and a few minutes walk to the Hanmer Springs Pools. Staff were friendly. Relaxed atmosphere.
