Recently awarded as Europe's Leading Design Hotel, the luxurious Vine Hotel is located in Funchal and offers a fusion restaurant with stunning views, a Wine Therapy Spa, and a rooftop infinity pool. Central location, overall vibe and beds were very comfy. We had a courtyard/shopping mall interior room which was very quiet. Pool was cool.

We had to book this hotel very last minute after our flight to Madeira was diverted to Porto Santo. They were super accomodating with the last minute booking. The rooms were beautiful and clean, all staff were very friendly!

Les Suites at The Cliff Bay features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a garden in Funchal. Spacious and tastefully decorated. We were very well cared for there. Breakfast was excellent. View from our room was spectacular.

My stay was fantastic from start to finish. The room was beautifully maintained, the staff went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and relaxing. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, making it a truly enjoyable experience. I would gladly stay here again

Situated atop a natural peninsula, The Cliff Bay provides panoramic Atlantic Ocean views and private sea access. Beautiful views, great plants in and out, live music in the evenings, good location to see the island and many restaurants outside and inside the hotel.

Casa Velha do Palheiro Relais & Chateaux is a 5-star manor house hotel situated in the old Palheiro Gardens in the foothills of Funchal. Excellent location, lovely personal and great atmosphere all together. It was quiet and cozy. The territory around is well maintained and very green, with beautiful garden. The breakfast and dinner were very delicious, I believe that everyone will find that will suit their taste. Personally I loved the omelette and variety of fruits at the breakfast and excellent fish and vegetarian dishes served at dinner. Almost forgot - the rooms are big, clean and comfortable.
